I recently arranged for my dear old Dad’s Wake to be held at the Ibis Styles in Narrabundah, Canberra. The service and help I received from Kirsty the Events Manager, was simply fantastic. The location and function room and the Wake itself, all turned out beautifully. I can’t thank Kirsty and Ibis enough for making it a beautiful experience to celebrate my Dad’s life with family and friends. Thanks again to all the staff who looked after us on the day.

Enjoyable stay at their superior room double bed. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 young children. Even though nearly at capacity, parking was not an issue. Breakfast was crowded but management handles it well. There is also an outdoor garden area where you can enjoy your breakfast which is nice and private. Hotel location is not an issue if you have car, fairly close to major attraction area.

We stayed here for 3 days this past weekend, some reviews say it’s old and needs freshen up, yes, they are right to some degree…. This is a great place for families to stay, priced accordingly and with all that is required. Rooms are clean, amenities are certainly adequate, breakfast and dinners are excellent and family friendly. Possibly more staff when restaurant is busy as it was and maybe even a restaurant manager or supervisors worked be great. Would I take my family there again? Yes, most definitely so…. Staff that were there did a great job and helped make us feel comfortable and welcome

Stayed at the motel with my wife and son. Chris was outstanding and went out of his way on more than one occasion to make it memorable. Thank you for the hospitality and definitely will be a repeat customer P.S. warm your pool it was freezing (Canberra in summer no fault to the motel)

Stayed many times arriving after hours they always make sure you know key is in night safe. Missed breakfast deliberately but when we went to settle account my son told me he was hungry, and they heard him and then went out of their way to provide him some complimentary breakfast well after closing time.

The customer service was amazing and very close to places in Canberra, amazing food and delivered by a lovely guy called Chris. Our family really enjoyed staying here and hope we do another time Cheers Noah!!
